Point Reyes National Seashore, the only National Seashore on the West Coast of Northern California, is less than 30 miles north of San Francisco. Encompassing 100 square miles of coastal wilderness, the park offers 80 miles of pristine coastline and over 150 miles of hiking trails. Rich in biodiversity, the park is home to over 45% of North American bird species and almost 18% of California’s plant species. Thirty-eight threatened and endangered species exist within the park.

When visiting Point Reyes National Seashore, stop at the Bear Valley Visitor Center to learn about the many ways to experience the outdoors at Point Reyes. Kayaking, cycling, horseback riding and wilderness camping is available.
